My name is James Gilles. I’m interested in data visualization and transformation, as well as compilers and program rewriting. I also enjoy math, especially lattice theory, relational algebra, geometric algebra, and higher category theory. I love teaching, but it’s a lot of work.
I’m looking for a PhD advisor. Here’s my CV and master’s thesis. I want to work on:

I don’t want to work on machine learning, but my work would probably be useful for it.
